Oakland County home sales are up 1.7% from November 2010 at 1,316 sales to November 2011 1,339 sales. The average sale price was up 1.5% to $108,000 in 11/2011.
Oakland County had fewer homes for sale in 11/2011 of 7,006 homes from 9,483 in 11/2010. The reduction in inventory is giving home buyers less choices of homes to buy. There are still good deals on the real estate market, but the good homes are going quickly.
The number of foreclosures sold was done-10.7% to 433 home sales in 11/2011 from 485 home sales in 11/2010. That is a reduction of -10.7%. The median sale price of a foreclosure was $52,572 from $57,100 in 11/2011, that’s down -7.9%.
Non foreclosure home sales were up 9% to 906 home sales in 11/2011 from 831 home sales in 2010. There were a total of 1,339 home sales in 11/2011 from 1,316 in 11/2010, up 1.7%. The median sale price was $140,000 for Oakland County Michigan.
Macomb, Livingston, Wayne and Oakland County sales increased over 2010 for the month of November. We see this as great news to Share with Consumers. Here’s a quick preview of the sales statistics summary:
Residential and Condominium sales across Realcomp’s MLS areas were up 6.8% from 4,807 in November 2010 to 5,134 in November 2011.
Of 5,134 sales closed in November of this year, 15.76% (809) were identified as short sales.
Approximately 46.7% of all sales in November were identified as cash sales.
All MLS on-market inventory declined by 18.6% from 35,875 in November 2010 to 29,209 in November 2011.
Average Days On-Market (DOM) for the entire MLS decreased from last year by 11 days, from 100 to 89
